1. What charges am I likely to incur when being collected from an Airport?
Normal fare as you been advised when you have booked a cab in the first place, Airport collections are broken down as follows: Basic fare free collection charge for meet & greet service, 1st hr free of charge waiting from arrival time + Any waiting over the 1st hr from arrival time will be charged at £20 p/hr + car park add £10 to cover the cost of parking. All charges are added at the end of the journey, please also note any drops to Calne Cirencester Cricklade Lechlade Malmesbury Marlborough Royal Wootton Bassett & Watchfield will also incur additional charges. Cancellations: Bristol & Heathrow it's charged £25 London City Airport Birmingham Gatwick Stansted & Luton it's charged £40 + Car Park cost.
2. How do I find my driver at the airport?
Your driver will be waiting in the arrivals hall with your name board M4 Swindon Taxis will also send you a text message Reg Nu: and the make of model and colour of the vehicle, it that text message you also with receive drivers name and phone nu: so you can communicate directly to the driver via his mobile. However if you cannot get hole of your driver in the arrival hall, please call the office on 01793 205800.
3. How do I get a receipt for a debit/ credit card journey?
Please note that the receipt can be issued after the journey has been completed, not before the journeying you are paying with debit/ credit card over the phone then we can email you the PDF file via email address, please make sure you provide our office with your email address, if you are paying for your journey after the journey is completed then the driver will give you the receipt from a secure Chip & Pin terminal after your payment has been approved by the bank, so you will receive two receipts hard copy receipt and card terminal receipt.
4. I booked a standard vehicle but upon arrival the driver advised me that I need a large vehicle! where do I stand?
There are cases were passengers underestimate the amount of luggages they are carrying or the amount of space their luggages is likely to take. To resolve such issue we either provide you with option of sending you a large vehicle subject to new agreed quote or if a large vehicle but you only booked a standard size vehicle then again you have two options: first one being that you reject the drivers claim that you need a large vehicle then the office will send a standard vehicle at which point their should be no issue or second option is after assessing the luggages you agree with the driver that a new quote will be given to you by office operator.
5. I booked a standard vehicle, however a large vehicle has turned up. Will I be charged more?
If you have booked a standard vehicle and large vehicle or in some cases an executive vehicle arrives you will not be charged any extra money. Please note if you do then decide to utilise the additional space i.e with passengers or luggages then you will be charge for the large vehicle.
6. What if my flight is delayed?
M4 Swindon Taxis will monitor the flight every 15 minutes with the relevant information that you have provides us with as in flight details and regarding any other delays. We will only send the driver to the airport when the airport has displayed the confirmed landing tone, Note: Airport conformations are not always 100% reliable we endeavour to do our best but M4 Swindon Taxis is not liable for these delays by the i.e airline aborted landing baggage immigration issues & etc.
7. Do I pay the same fare every time?
All fares are automatically generated as per your destination outside the Swindon Borough, so if you are travelling from A 2 B each time yes the far should be the same. Please note: if you travelling peak time within Swindon Borough yes the fares do change after 19:00 hrs to 07:00 hrs the fares will be £3.50 start instead of £2.90 higher peak hours Mon to Fri 07:00 to 19:00 £2.90 start 19:00 to 07:00 £3.50, Saturday 07:00 to 18:00 £2.90 start 18:00 following Monday 07:00 3.50 start within Swindon Borough area all fares subject to meter rates.
8. What if I arrive at any London airports and I haven't book a vehicle?
M4 Swindon Taxis will make sure that your journey will be covered with the nearest vehicle in the area. All you need to do is make a quick telephone call to us on: 01793 205800 and our operator will be able to informed with the nearest available vehicle.
9. How do I get a receipt for a cash journey?
Please note that receipt for the cash journeys can only be issued after journey has been completed, Not before. Please ask the driver for hand written receipt at the end of your journey.
10. Do you charge for the car park at the airport?
Yes the passengers are responsible for the cost of parking at the airport on collections. Parking receipt are available from the driver.
11. Do you charge waiting time at the airports?
We track all the flights as to reduce any cost to the passengers and also the car park charges. One the flight has landed your first hour from your arrival time is free of charge, any time waiting after the first hour is charged at £20 p/hr.
12. Why are airport pickups more expensive?
There reasons are because the flight arrival tines are hard to predict and we have to allow few extra hrs for pickups and any error incase within flight early or delayed. Also that we can meet and greet service is provided and to covering the doctor of parking.
13. I have left something in one of your vehicles, what should I do?
Please make sure that you check before you exit the vehicle that you take all your belongings with you as we cannot guarantee the returns of all the items left behind. However, all the lost items found in our vehicles by our drivers are returned back into the office and we keep a log of all items found in our vehicles. All items are kept in our office until you are able to collect it. Also you can contact the office 24hr on: 01793 205800 or email at m4swindontaxis@gmail.com, Please note that if you would like us to deliver your items back to you at your address you will be charged full price for the journey.
14. How can I cancel a booking?
Please give us at least 1hr in advance of your cancellation if you know that you no longer require the booking as we can take some more bookings for someone else. Booking can be cancelled in two different ways, 1quickest way is a telephone call to office on: 01793 205800 or by Email the office on: m4swindontaxis@gmail.com and confirm the dates & times of your cancellation.
15. Will I be charged a cancellation fee?
We asked that any bookings cancelled are done in advance so that you don't get charged for cancellation. However if the vehicle is about to arrive or has arrived outside collection point then there will be a charge. Please note that for Airports Seaports & Stations collections we ask that you must cancel your booking at least 2 hrs in advance by telephone call or email to confirm that you no longer require the vehicle so that you avoid any charges.
16. What are our opening Hrs?
We operate 24/7 through out the year.
17. How can I get a discount?
M4 Swindon Taxis will give you discount if you use us regularly and we also give you 10% off you you present our flyer to the driver. Also when we have promotions available.
18. Does M4 Swindon Taxis check flight arrival times for Airport pickups?
Yes we do and we will ask you for your flight nu: when booking the vehicle, we then check for the flight details every 15 minutes for any changes in your flight arrival time. If the flight is delayed or canceled so then we can keep your driver informed with your flight.

20. How do I get receipt for an account journey?
Please note that for the account journeys you can ask the driver for an hand written receipt if you wish too but your business / company account department will receive a invoice PDF file. We will invoice your account dept with a breakdown of individual journeys is created on monthly basis which is generally sent to your accounts dept of your company.
21. Is there a minimum age for a minor to travel alone with M4 Swindon Taxis?
It is our company policy that our minimum age is 13 years. Please let us know at the time if booking and we will do our very best to send the most appropriate driver.
22. I am in labour would I still be able to get a vehicle?
Of course yes, all we ask is that you need to curry a towel just in case of your water breaks. Apart from that we will be more then happy to provide you with best vehicle in the house. If you do have any question or anything serious or an emergency please call for ambulance.
23. Driver won't help take the luggage into house/flat or come inside to give me a hand to take it to the vehicle?
All our drivers will help with luggages once the luggages our by the front door. However as they are not insured to go into the house/flat incase something goes wrong. We as a company policy we do not allow our drivers to enter promises.
24. What if my flight is early?
Long haul flights (3 Hrs or longer) M4 Swindon Taxis starts checking the flights 2-3 hrs before the estimated time of arrival. This allows M4 Swindon Taxis to detect any early or delayed flights with more accuracy.
